how long have you been riding, and what got you into flatland? _
It has been 8 years I am riding. First I saw BMX in a fashion magazine called Ollie. It looked fun and beautifull so I bought my first bike.
I can see from your video part that you have a unique style. do you_
think of flatland as an outlet for personal expression? __
An outlet of my personal expression? Waoo...What can I say? I think everyone is looking for a balance between riding and personnality. I ride with a goal, create a original riding style, it is very important but I don't think flat is "love" or "freedom". I don't have those feelings.
what or who do you think influences your riding the most? __
Basically I have no role model in flatland. Sometimes I ride with Akihiko Takahashi he is some kind of inspiration.
what made you want to represent sick child bikes in japan? __
I was asked by Yoritaka Harumoto, the boss of MagicFruits. I looked at the specs and it seems to fit what I was looking for. Moreover, it is really beautifull.
any thoughts on contests, the internet, or the future of
flatland? _
Contests are important but it is not the essential matter. I think it is better to ride for you and continue to enjoy riding flatland.
